ProduceVille owners plan a traditional seasonal stand in Madras from May to September
A full-service seasonal produce stand will soon be opening at the corner of Southwest Fifth and Southeast E streets in Madras.
Patrick and Becky Clark plan to open ProduceVille on May 1.
The Clarks opened Prineville Produce in East Prineville two years ago and recently changed their company name to better reflect everything they do, including a new stand in Madras.
The Madras produce stand will feature all the traditional summer fruits, including some from Kimberly, such as peaches, cherries, nectarines and plums. They will be selling Hermiston melons, vegetables as well as honey and jam – everything you would expect from a produce stand.
The vacant lot has been prepared for the large tent, and a shed now sits on the site.
ProduceVille will most likely be open Tuesday through Saturday throughout late spring and summer and will close for the season in September.
“We are excited to provide quality products to the community,” said Becky.
