Waterville organizations to co-host leadership lunch on April 29

WATERVILLE – Dr. Melik Peter Khoury, President and CEO of Unity College, will share his vision for the future of the college, his remarkable leadership journey and his lifelong experiences that have prepared him for his role current at a leadership luncheon on April 29.

The Mid-Maine Chamber of Commerce and KV Connect will co-host the lunch, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Amici’s Cucina, 137 Main St.

Khoury holds a BA from the University of Maine Fort Kent, an MBA from the University of Maine and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Under his leadership, Unity College successfully launched The Enterprise Model, which provides traditional and adult students with training opportunities through distance education; Hybrid learning; and sustainable businesses. In the process, Khoury began to break down traditional barriers associated with higher education, making it more affordable, accessible, flexible, and relevant to students locally and around the world.
